premise
signup is based on a fictional blogging website/instagram hybrid (think tumblr, but not quite) dedicated to bringing people from all over the world together. that means characters can be based anywhere and everywhere!

the community is post-covid, and since this is worldwide, we are waving the magic rp wand to say there are no travel restrictions based on covid.

joining
usernames can be either ic and ooc as long as there is no excess numbers or letters.

character information should include 100 (minimum) words on their history or personality, as well as the basics: name, age, occupation, hometown, where they're located.

both an ic and ooc post is needed. please backdate both and make sure they are viewable to the mod journal when you apply.

please note that if your application was deleted, that means you were rejected. at this time we will not be answering questions regarding rejected applications.

activity
once you've been accepted, you have 72 hours to post an introduction to entered. we do ask that you respond to at least 75% of your comments in order for your introduction to be considered complete, failure to do so may result in you being removed.

the activity cycle begins on the first of the month and ends at midnight pst on the last day. during this time each member is required to update their journal at least once. you might be wondering what about the second form of activity we're all used to. well, here at signup we want to try something a little different. we are requesting that each member turn in ten (10) links to comment threads on the friend's page to show proof of activity and interaction. these comment threads should have at least two replies back and forth, though more is definitely better! both forms of actitivity should be turned into the activity dropbox by the end of the month.

we are also offering other ways to achieve activity requirements. you can sign up to host an activity (game night, plot post, ffa, etc) and be checked off for activity as well as earn an update pass for a future use. we ask that any ffa's be approved by the mod's first so we are able to evenly distribute them amongst members and make sure everyone gets a turn to host and they aren't overwhelming on the friends page.

on the 15th of each month there will be a mid-month activity check to help us remove inactive members. everyone will have 72 hours to respond to the post notifying that they are still around. in order to be marked off, we do require you to have an up to date friends list.

we understand that real life comes first which sometimes means that updating can't always happen. if you ever need either an extension or a hiatus, simply request one at our member's only post.

extras
our goal is to make sure that this community is friend's page driven so we ask that you do not advertise the use of off-site apps such as wire, discord, telegram, etc. on either the friend's page or in pbads. we understand the convenience of these apps but ask that you please make an effort to interact on the friend's page moreso than anything else. we will not be policing people's use of them as the mods would like to dedicate their time to creating fun in-game activities.

all dating app posts should be backdated in your journal. we ask that any posts for them take place in our swipes/networking community, searches.

we will only one one face change during your time at signup as long as the face is available and someone hasn't already applied for that face.
